A Regenerative Life
Nestled in the Central Highlands, Loganberry Farm is a family run, bespoke regenerative egg and flower farm.
Blessed with beautiful rich volcanic soil, we are the caretakers of our soil.
We follow regenerative practices through the management of our chickens, sheep and cattle throughout the pastures and within the flower farm.
We understand that if our soil is enriched with microbes, if the grass is lush with nutrients, our chickens, cattle and sheep are happy and healthy.
Our hens are housed in chicken caravans. Wonderful mobile structures, which provide shelter from the elements and safety from predators such as foxes and eagles.
The chicken caravans are rotationally grazed throughout the farms paddocks, alongside the cattle and sheep.
The hens forage within the lush grass, and can also access nutrient dense grains daily to supplement their diet for egg production.
At the end of flower season, the smaller caravan comes into the flower farm, where the hens scratch the soil and fertilise the dahlia, blueberry and peony garden beds, ready for next seasons plantings.
An abundance of beautiful eggs are laid daily, for all to enjoy and the flowers bloom wildly.
