Our Mini Dahlia Flower Buckets will be available for purchase from our farmgate stall from late February to early April 2026.

These buckets are perfect if you require farm-fresh seasonal dahlia blooms in your favourite colours to fill vases within your home.

We will harvest : 

  • 20 x Beautiful Dahlia Blooms and place them in a flower bucket with water, ready for you to take home easily on your travels and place in your own vases. 
  • Our Dahlias are carefully cut to a standard length of 30cm. 


Please select from our colour blends provided, and we will try ( where mother nature allows us ) to create your colour story from our dahlias that are ready to harvest.

'Spring Blossom ~ With re-newed energy, a collection of soft muted pinks, purples, lemons, salmons and creams.

'Summer Citrus' ~ A little bit zesty, a collection of oranges, lemons, and creams. 

'Summer Berry ' On a berry note, a collection of pinks, salmons, red and purples.

'Vintage Autumn' ~ Soft salmons, lilacs, cream and dusty pinks.

'Autumn Days' ~ A change of season with warm honey, deep reds and honey tones. 

'Winter Greens' - Tranquil and calming , a classic collection of cream, mauve, burgundy and foliage greens. 

'Winter Snowdrops' - Layers of white, upon cream, upon lemon, a simple modern classic.

 

We always go with the flow and are lead by what mother natures provides for us. 

Our mood board photos and descriptions reflect the type of dahlias growing on the farm and give you an idea of what colours to expect rather than an exact cultivar representation.

Due to the nature of flower growing, we are unable to 100 % guarantee if the exact blooms selected, will be available upon the day of harvest.

This means, we will hand pick blooms, that are filling the farm on the day of harvest, at their peak freshness that marry into your colour story as close as possible to the blooms selected, whether it be of a similar colour, shape or size to create your beautiful colour story.

Harvested and ready to go:

  • For our Mini Dahlia Flower Buckets we will need 48 hours notice as blooms are cut to order.
  • Pick-up available from our farm-gate stall of a Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, between 9am to 12pm.
  • We will meet with you at our farm-gate stall, flowers in hand. 

 

 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

 

DAHLIA TUBERS

Our farm is located in Central Victoria, by where the climate is cool and dahlia tubers sometimes take awhile to wake up. 

Shipping will be dependant upon the tubers breaking their dormancy. All of our orders will be packed and sent parcel post from Australia Post.

SHIPPING 

Every tuber is inspected at least three times.  Once at the dividing stage, second at the viability stage and then for a third time at shipping, to ensure there is at least one viable eye for growth.

Will live in the central highlands of Victoria where the climate is cool and dahlia tubers do sometimes take awhile to wake up.

  • Eyes normally break dormancy when temperatures reach 15 degrees and above on the farm but some varieties can be a little finicky.
  • We will only ship tubers when eyes have broken dormancy.
  • We cannot fulfil early shipping requests, nor can we split order.
  • We can only ship within  Victoria, Australia with the exclusion of , NSW, QLD, SA, WA, NT and TAS due to quarantine restrictions.
  • All of our orders will be packed and sent via Australia Post, from the middle of October through to late November, and will be posted in order of receipt.
  • We are unable to guarantee an arrival time once your tubers are shipped.
  • We are not responsible for any delays from Australia Post or non - deliveries, but you will receive a notification once the order ships with a tracking number.

LOCAL PICK UP FOR DAHLIA TUBERS

We will be offering Local Pick Up for Dahlia Tuber for the coming 2026 season.

FARMGATE STALL PICK UP FOR EGGS, BLUEBERRIES, FARMGATE BUNCHES, POSIES, and FLOWER BUCKETS

We are unable to offer delivery for season 2025 - 2026.

Farmgate Stall collection will be offered upon selected dates for all  : Free Range Eggs, Blueberries, Farmgate Bunches, Posies and Flower Buckets.

 

Recycled, Compostable, Packaging

 

Our aim is to package our dahlia tubers as sustainably as possible. We have selected packaging that is 99.9 % recycled- even down to the packaging water tape!  You can happily pop all the packaging from your purchase, in your own compost or recycling bin, so then, we are all treading lightly upon the earth!

  • Dahlia tubers come in all wonderful shapes and sizes. They can be as small as a AA battery or as large as sweet potato!
  • The size of the tuber does not determine how healthy your plant will be or how well your flowers will bloom. Our preference is to select tubers that range from small to medium sizing.
  • Your dahlia tuber will be placed in a 99.9% recycled, 10 cm x 21 cm x 5 cm gusseted paper bag . The bag will be labelled with the cultivar name of the tuber.
  • A small amount of vermiculite / potting medium will be added to the bag to stabilise the tuber in storage for the interim term during transit.
  • Your dahlia tuber(s) will be placed in a 99.9% recycled cardboard box.
  • Hex Wrap ( compostable and recycled ) will be added if required to prevent the tubers from shimmying around in transit.
  • 'Dahlia Care and Growing Guides' will be enclosed with little tips on how to grow your dahlias for the upcoming season.
