Tiger Bey is a gorgeous rich terracotta giant decorative with a burgundy speckled fleck overlay.
A garden favourite, this bloom re captures my heart every season.
This cultivar loves to bloom on slender arching stems, making this a beautiful specimen for the garden.
Tiger Bey would benefit from staking, as the blooms can be so prolific on plants that have left in situ.
Blooms that are harvested for bespoke arrangements have a true organic vintage appeal.
A beautiful cultivar to have in a dahlia collection for rich Autumn flowering.
3 - 4 ft plant height.
Expect a vase life of 3-4 days.
Please Note:
- All dahlia tubers purchased from Loganberry Farm will be shipped from our farm, from October thru to December, once tuber eyes are clearly visible.
- Please be aware due to our cool climate, our tubers quite often take a little longer to wake up.
- We are a small regenerative egg and flower farm.
- All the tubers are grown organically, with the care of our chickens throughout the growing seasons, here on the farm.
- For the health and well being of our tubers, we like to lift and divide our garden beds every second year. We do not resell tubers from other growers.
- Our dahlia collection has taken years to develop, purchase limits have been applied to some dahlias to allow more gardeners to enjoy them.

Recycled, Compostable, Packaging
Recycled, Compostable, Packaging
Our aim is to package our dahlia tubers as sustainably as possible. We have selected packaging that is 99.9 % recycled- even down to the packaging water tape! You can happily pop all the packaging from your purchase, in your own compost or recycling bin, so then, we are all treading lightly upon the earth!
- Dahlia tubers come in all wonderful shapes and sizes. They can be as small as a AA battery or as large as sweet potato!
- The size of the tuber does not determine how healthy your plant will be or how well your flowers will bloom. Our preference is to select tubers that range from small to medium sizing.
- Your dahlia tuber will be placed in a 99.9% recycled, 10 cm x 21 cm x 5 cm gusseted paper bag . The bag will be labelled with the cultivar name of the tuber.
- A small amount of vermiculite / potting medium will be added to the bag to stabilise the tuber in storage for the interim term during transit.
- Your dahlia tuber(s) will be placed in a 99.9% recycled cardboard box.
- Hex Wrap ( compostable and recycled ) will be added if required to prevent the tubers from shimmying around in transit.
-
'Dahlia Care and Growing Guides' will be enclosed with little tips on how to grow your dahlias for the upcoming season.
